Parks & Recreation at Ken Lake

Lakemoor Community Club maintains several parks and recreational areas for resident enjoyment. These spaces are free to use for daily recreation and can be reserved for private events.

To reserve a space for a private gathering, submit a reservation request and you will receive confirmation along with any applicable guidelines. Please provide at least 2 weeks advance notice for events.

Main Rec Area

The central gathering space for the Lakemoor community. The Main Rec Area is used for annual events like the 4th of July picnic and the annual meeting, and is available for private reservations between community events.

The facility includes outdoor seating, picnic tables, and open lawn space.

  • Open to residents daily, dawn to dusk
  • Available for private reservations
  • Max guest capacity: 50
  • No amplified music after 9 PM
Reserve Main Rec

Sports Park

An open recreational space available for resident use. Suitable for informal sports, outdoor exercise, and community play. The Sports Park is one of the most actively used spaces in the neighborhood.

Reserve Sports Park

Westside Park

A peaceful park on the west side of the neighborhood offering views of Ken Lake and access to the Urban Forest trail system. Popular for peaceful walks, small gatherings, and fishing.

  • Fishing permitted in designated areas
Reserve Westside Park

Tot Lot & Community Gardens

A dedicated play area for children, adjacent to the community garden plots maintained by the Gardens Committee. Garden plots are assigned annually by lottery to interested residents.
